Dipping Tobacco Brands & Types |

Pouch Dip is basically Fine Cut tobacco placed in a teabag type material and is the easiest to use since the tobacco is contained inside the pouch. It’s also the most discreet because it basically can be used without the need to spit like the other types. “We’ve seen them Dip Guy. They are pretty new, aren’t they?” Well, not really. Pouch type Dip actually started back in the 1980’s and came in the form of Skoal Bandits. The theory is the same but the actual products couldn’t be farther apart. Skoal Bandits were just as easy to use but, when they first came out, were about half the size of today’s pouches and lasted about half of the time but, new Dippers liked them because they were easy to use and pretty discreet. They fell out of favor because seasoned Dippers absolutely hated them. The other thing that did the Bandits in back then was the fact that they only came in one flavor, Wintergreen. Today, you can get pouches in pretty much every flavor that the original types come in, even Copenhagen!
